I had not seen Truckers before. I don’t expect to watch it again, and would not recommend it to many people.
I had not seen The Happiest Millionaire before, and missed part of the film this time. I would not go out of my way to see it again. I could recommend it to anyone who would watch a ’60s musical.
I had not read The King in Yellow before. I might read it again eventually, and I would probably recommend it.
I had not seen Pan’s Labyrinth before. I could recommend it, and will probably see it again at some point.
I had not read either of the two stories in this book before. I don’t think I could recommend either, and will probably not read them again.
I have read Catch-22 before, and I will probably read it again eventually.
After about a week in New York, I have finished a satisfying vacation. I recommend avoiding the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta whenever possible. High-pressure credit card salespeople were set up along the concourse I flew from, and every seating area was subject to inane, unavoidable television news shows.
Time spent in New York, of course, was more relaxed and enjoyable. I got to see a few people that I hadn’t seen in a long time, and met one or two people that I hope to see again.
I hadn’t seen The King of Kong before. It wasn’t as good as I expected. I probably wouldn’t watch it again, but I might recommend it with some reservations.
I had not seen Silent Running before. I would not watch it again, and could not recommend it to anyone.
I flew into New York yesterday. This afternoon I wandered around Prospect Park. I happened to find a pick-up game of four square going on, and spent an hour or two playing. A small barbecue followed.
